Thanks for sharing; this one was new to me in the range of small, two-seater city-vehicles such as Citroen Ami (https://www.citroen.co.uk/ami), or Renault Twizy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_Twizy). The Microlino reminds a bit of the BMW Isetta (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isetta).

In terms of utility, I can imagine that for a city dweller who only needs to drive small distances alone (or with one other person) such a small car would have a smaller energy and resource footprint than a normal compact car (Don't even get me started on SUVs). However, given their price I wonder whether one could go further, not using an individually owned car all together but being able to rely on shared forms of mobility. That needs a paradigm change though.
