Thanks for sharing your findings - interesting as always.

The only snag I would have, with the title mostly, is the condition that biofuel production does not compete with food production, i.e. mutually exclusive production. This is unfortunately the case in many ways, e.g. rape seed production for biodiesel using fossil fuels in my native Austria. If stalks and grass from non-arable land can be turned into biofuel, then all is fine as both production streams are complementary.
