Thanks for this insightful article pointing out various feedback loops. I would love to see a dynamic model, either graphical (Bond graphs) or through a set of differential equations.

There is perhaps one snag, if I may say so, with regards to the language used: the use of the term "non-linear". In system dynamics, a set of linear differential equations may well have a response in the time domain that is a linear combination of exponential functions in time which does not make the behaviour non-linear. The term "non-linear" usually refers to the fact that the relationships between variables are not linear, i.e. cannot be expressed as linear combinations but as products, square roots, etc.
